Check before you send, from any page
Paste an address into the VerifiedWallet button, or right-click a selected address on any website, exchange or wallet page. You see straight away whether its owner is verified, whether it's a listed company's wallet, or whether it's a lookalike made to trick you.
1. Add it
Click Add to Chrome above and confirm. It installs from the Chrome Web Store, so it updates by itself.
2. Pin it
Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin VerifiedWallet so the button is always there.
3. Use it
Paste an address into the button, or select one on any page and right-click → Check with VerifiedWallet.
What it tells you
- Verified ownerThe wallet's owner proved they control it; the certificate is one click away.
- Verified businessA company's wallet, listed under the name we checked against the official register.
- Lookalike addressCopies the first and last characters of a verified wallet but isn't it — the address-poisoning trick.
- Not verifiedNothing on record. Most addresses; not a bad sign on its own.
After a right-click check the toolbar badge shows ✓, ! or ? and the full result opens on verifiedwallet.io.
Privacy
The extension sends only the address you choose to check, to verifiedwallet.io, and nothing else: no browsing history, no page content, no account. It doesn't read pages or your clipboard on its own.
It asks for two permissions: the right-click menu, and storage to hand a right-clicked address to its popup. It uses the same free check as verifiedwallet.io/check; developers can call it too: GET /api/check.
